USRSA Lab Test Results

Tier One Sports strings provide exceptional performance ON and OFF the court: Besides great reviews from our customers we now received an important quantitative data point about our strings as well- TENSION STABILITY. Bob Patterson from the USRSA (United States Racquet Stringers Association) provides their readers with a comprehensive list of tennis string lab test results for string stiffness and tension stability. Bob was kind enough to test all of Tier One Sports strings as well.

Although it is only a small data point, tension stability is an important aspect of a tennis string. Polyester based strings are known for loosing their tension quickly. Thus, this aspect becomes even more important for this type of string. We are happy to announce that, besides Durafluxx 18g, all of our strings held their tension in the lab setting extremely well when compared to approx. 320 other strings that are currently on the market:

Firewire 17g had with 13.85 lbs the 7th least tension loss of all strings. Tour Status 16g followed very closely with 14.66 lbs and Durafluxx 17g with 15.67 lbs. Down below are all the test results.
